Instructions
In a big mixing bowl, take sooji/rava add curd/dahi. Mix it well. Now add all the chopped vegetables ( tomatoes, capsicum & green chillies)
You can add more vegetables of your choice. You can add chopped onion, corn or carrots.
Now mix water and make it a batter kind consistency. Be careful with water, do not add more or less. Add water only if curd is thick.
Add salt and mix it well. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
Just before you are about to make dhoklas, add half packet fruit salt/ eno and mix it well.
Heat a non stick pan. Place a cookie cutter, pour oil inside it and once oil is heated add sesame seeds and mustard seeds, let it pop up.
On slow flame, pour 1 teaspoon of batter inside the cookie cutter. Sprinkle red chilli powder and cover it with a lid.
Let it cook on slow flame for 5-7 minutes. Once done do a knife or toothpick test. The toothpick should come clean.
Using a knife, clean the edges of the cookie cutter and de mould it.
Serve it hot with tomato ketchup and imli sauce.
Your Vegetable Tava Dhokla is ready to serve. Happy Cooking!
