Whenever I hear the word Pizza, my mouth starts watering and I can’t resist having one. Pizza is one recipe which is loved by all, right? Oh-so-Cheesy melts in your mouth and deliciously yum – Pizza is bae!
Since I live in a small city, where we don’t have those fancy Pizza outlets, we have to make Pizza at home. Haha, can’t help it but we want PIZZAAAAA! 😍🍕
If you live in a small city or if you don’t want to eat outside, you can always try making Pizza at home. This recipe is fuss-free, simple and easy to make. Even if you don’t have ingredients like Olives, jalapenos or red/yellow capsicum, still you can make delicious Pizza at home.
I have used Cheese cubes, you can use Mozzarella cheese too. The idea is to make Pizza at home, you can adjust the ingredients according to the availability.
This recipe is one of the easiest Pizza recipes you will ever read. Few basic ingredients and you can make it at home. If you don’t have Oven or Microwave, you can make it on gas tandoor or even on a non-stick pan.

- 4 number Pizza Base You can make Pizza base at home, but I have used the one available in the market.
- 4-5 Number Cheese Cubes
- 1 Cup pizza sauce
- Oregano & Red chilli flakes for garnish
- 4 Number Tomatoes
- 2 Number capsicum
- 1 Cup cabbage
- 1 number Green chili
- 3-4 teaspoon Oil/Butter
- 1/2 teaspoon ajwain
- 5-6 basil leaves
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Red chilli flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon Red chilli Powder
- 3-4 teaspoon tomato sauce
- salt to taste

- Making Pizza Sauce :
- Roast tomatoes and capsicum on gas or over a skillet. Once done, take out the skin and finely chop them.
- Now take cabbage and finely chop it. You can chop it using a chopper or roughly chop it using a knife. Chop green chillies.
- Heat a kadhai. Add butter/oil. Once oil gets heated add cumin seeds, basil leaves, chopped green chilli, oregano and red chilli flakes. Sauté them on low flame for 1-2 seconds.
- Add chopped capsicum and sauté for a while. Now add chopped cabbage. Cook everything together. We want little bite in the cabbage.
- Finally add chopped tomatoes. Add red chilli powder, salt and tomato ketchup. Cook everything nicely on a low flame till everything comes together.
- Switch off the gas and keep this aside to cool down.
- Pre cook Pizza base from both the side so that it becomes crunchy and pre cooked. You can dry cook them on a pan and keep it aside before hand.
- Take a pizza base, spread a generous amount of Pizza sauce.
- Grate cheese. The more the cheese, the better it is! 😉
- Sprinkle some more oregano and chilli flakes.
- Heat your Gas Tandoor or Tava. Place the Pizza and cook on a low flame till cheese gets melted. Since we have already cooked the base before hand, it won't take much time.
- Cut into Pizza Slices and serve hot.
- Cheesy Veg Pizza is ready to gulp down. Enjoy!
Notes :
- You can use any vegetables of your choice. You can use onions, jalapenos, olives too
- Instead of cheese cubes, you can grate Mozzarella cheese.
- Make it in Gas tandoor/ Oven/ Microwave or Tava, it's up to you.
