Sooji Uttapam is one of the easiest and quickest recipes that we all can make for breakfast. Since it’s healthy and loaded with vegetables, it’s a perfect recipe to treat the kids with. The season of Rain, Garma-Garam Chai, and Pakoras is here. Instead of making Pakoras every time, let’s try something new 🙂
These mini Sooji Uttapams not only look cute but great as a tiffin snack. Easy to eat and handle, your kids will love them. Have it with ketchup or green chutney.

- 1 cup Sooji / Rawa (Semolina)
- 3/4 cup Yogurt Dahi /
- 1 tomato (finely chopped into small pieces)
- 1 Capsicum (finely chopped into small pieces)
- 1/4 cup sweet corn American
- 1 chilly Green (finely chopped)
- 1/4 Black pepper tea powder- spoon
- 1/2 chili powder tea Red - spoon
- 1/4 Turmeric tea powder- spoon
- to taste Salt
- as required water
- 1/4 Eno tea - spoon

- In a mixing bowl take Sooji and yoghurt. Now add water. mix and let Sooji soak in water and yogurt for half an hour. {We want a medium-consistency mixture, not so runny, so add water accordingly}
- After half an hour, add all the vegetables and spices. Mix well
- Lastly add Eno and mix in one direction.
- Heat non stick Uttapam mini-pan, grease it with little oil.
- Pour a ladle full of batter into the tava to make mini uttapams.
- Cook it till golden brown from both the sides
- Serve with tomato ketchup or green-coriander chutney
- Serve Hot with Garma-Garam Adrak wali Chai
Notes :
- You can take any vegetable of your choice. I have skipped onion but you can add if you like.
