- 2 Medium Size Onions Chopped in slices
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon Mustard seeds/ rai
- 1 number Green Chillies chopped
- a pinch Hing
- 1/2 teaspoon Lal Mirch powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Haldi
- 1 teaspoon Dhaniya powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Amchur Powder
- to taste Salt
- for garnish coriander leaves Chopped

- In a kadhai, heat oil. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, hing.
- Once crackle, add chopped onions and green chilies. Sauté for a while. Cook the onions till they become soft but not mushy. Let them caramelize a bit. We want a bite in them.
- Add all the masalas and salt.
- Cook it well for 2 minutes.
- Switch off the gas and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve it with rotis or parathas. Enjoy
