Street food is popular all over the world, be it a Sandwiches or pani puri. But nothing can beat the variety of street food available in India. Simple yet exotic flavors make Indian street food different and our all-time favorite. No matter where we are, be it a flea market, a mall or at Haldiram’s, we always indulge in street food. No outing is ever complete without some chaat or Pani-Puri or Pav-Bhaji.
If you live in India or you belong to North India, you must have tried these. Nothing can compare these Chatpata Chaat. I am a Chaat person, be it Pani Puri or Sev Puri or Dahi puri chaat, I can have these any time of the day. You just can’t say no, right? Comment down if you are a chaat lover too.
Puchka Chaat or Dahi Puri is semi puffed pooris with the sweetness of curd and tangy chutneys, sev and it’s the perfect way to treat yourself.
If you want to try and make these at home, these are pretty simple to make. Easy, Quick and tastes absolutely YUM. If you have Puchkas at home and your guests arrives, you can easily make these in a jiffy.

- 1/2 cup dahi fresh
- 1/4 cup Tamarind Date Chutney -
- 1/4 cup Coriander Chutney
- 1 onion chopped {medium}
- 1 potato Boiled chopped {medium}
- to taste Chaat Masala
- to taste Salt
- to taste red chilli powder
- Coriander leaves for garnish
- as required sev .

- Arrange everything like so.
- Make a hole in the puchkas. Add few diced potato and then add chopped onions in every puchka.
- Now add curd on top of it.
- Now put 1/2 teaspoon of coriander chutney. You can adjust according to your taste.
- Now drizzle a bit of tamarind-date chutney. You can adjust this too.
- Sprinkle chaat masala, salt and red chilli powder according to your taste.
- Sprinkle sev, you can go for thin/bareek sev too.
- Sprinkle fresh coriander leaves and garnish it with few pomegranate seeds too {optional}
- Your dahi puri Chaat is ready to serve.
