Mawa Peda | Dhoodh Peda Recipe
Mawa Peda popularly known as Dhoodh or Milk Peda is made using Mawa or milk solids and few other ingredients. Delicious and easy to make, it’s a perfect recipe to try for Ganesh Chaturthi, Krishan Janmashtami or even Diwali.

  1. For making Mawa at home. Reduce 1.5 liters of milk on low flame till all the water from milk gets evaporated and what’s left is Mawa.
  2. You can buy Mawa from the market too.
  3. Once the mawa is done. In the same kadhai, while Mawa is still hot. Add sugar, cardamom powder, saffron soaked in milk, and lemon yellow color.
  4. Mix everything together. Knead to make a soft dough.
  5. Roll out Pedas and give them shape using Peda Stamp.
  6. Offer this to Ganpati Bappa and enjoy
