Gajar ka Halwa is perfect to have in Winters. Quick and easy dessert recipe which you try at home. Melt-in-your-mouth and so good in taste.

Ingredients
  • 250 gms CarrotsRed ones
  • 1/2Kg milk
  • 5-6teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2teaspoon Elaichi Powder
  • 2tablespoon ghee(measuring tablespoon)
  • Chopped Almondsfor garnish
Instructions
  1. Wash, peel and grate carrots using a grater. You can use a food processor too.
  2. Heat ghee in a kadhai, sauté grated carrorts on low flame for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Once done, add milk and keep stirring on low flame. We want carrorts to get cooked in milk and milk to get reduce. The idea is to keep stirring and let milk reduced down to half.
  4. After this add sugar and mix it well. Keep stirring on low flame. After few minutes you will see everything will come together and ghee will start leaving from the sides.
  5. Switch off the flame and add cardamom powder.
  6. Sprinkle chopped almonds and serve hot.
  7. Delicious Gajar ka Halwa is ready to serve.
Recipe Notes
  • Cook everything on low flame and keep stirring in between
  • You can add dry fruits of your choice.
  • With the same process, you can make lauki ka halwa.
