Fresh – (the one which we gather from the milk top everyday)
vanilla essence
Instructions
In a deep mixing bowl, take malai and powdered sugar. Mix it well with the help of a spoon and incorporate both the ingredients together.
Now slowly slowly, add Maida and mix it well to make a semi-thick consistency paste. Do not put the entire Maida at once.
Add few drops of Vanilla essence. U can adjust it according to your taste.
Mix it well with the help of a spoon.
Put the above mixture in a Piping bag and put any nozzle of your choice.
Take a baking tray, pipe the above mixture in shape of cookies.
Try to keep distance between the cookies, so that when bake and rise, they don’t mix with each other.
Meanwhile pre-heat the microwave at 180 degree celsius for 10 mins.
Once the microwave is pre-heated. Place the cookies into the microwave.
Bake it for 8-10 minutes at 180 degrees in Convection mode.
The temperature may vary from microwave to microwave. Keep an eye on the cookies. If you don’t get the desired colour, bake them for few more minutes
Once done, take them out. Let them cool down for few minutes.
Sprinkle some icing sugar if required.
Store in air tight containers

Some of you don’t like the flavor malai but don’t worry, once the cookies are baked, they don’t smell of malai at all. So you can still try 😉
Instead of Vanilla essence, you can add elaichi powder.
