4 ingredients recipe that anyone can bake easily at home. If you love baking but don’t know where to start from – this recipe is for you. Since it doesn’t require that many ingredients and its pretty simple to make.
When I started baking, I started with a basic Eggless Sponge Cake and that too in a pressure cooker. Yes, you heard it correctly. Cakes can be baked in a pressure cooker too. Not necessarily require a fancy OTG or a Microwave oven but you can start baking whenever you feel like.
No Baking powder – no Baking soda Malai cookies are everyone’s dream cookies. Since it requires minimal ingredients, I am sure you going to love it.

- 1/2 Cup maida
- 1/2 Cup sugar Powdered
- 1/2 Cup Malai Fresh - (the one which we gather from the milk top everyday)
- vanilla essence
Ingredients

- In a deep mixing bowl, take malai and powdered sugar. Mix it well with the help of a spoon and incorporate both the ingredients together.
- Now slowly slowly, add Maida and mix it well to make a semi-thick consistency paste. Do not put the entire Maida at once.
- Add few drops of Vanilla essence. U can adjust it according to your taste.
- Mix it well with the help of a spoon.
- Put the above mixture in a Piping bag and put any nozzle of your choice.
- Take a baking tray, pipe the above mixture in shape of cookies.
- Try to keep distance between the cookies, so that when bake and rise, they don't mix with each other.
- Meanwhile pre-heat the microwave at 180 degree celsius for 10 mins.
- Once the microwave is pre-heated. Place the cookies into the microwave.
- Bake it for 8-10 minutes at 180 degrees in Convection mode.
- The temperature may vary from microwave to microwave. Keep an eye on the cookies. If you don't get the desired colour, bake them for few more minutes
- Once done, take them out. Let them cool down for few minutes.
- Sprinkle some icing sugar if required.
- Store in air tight containers
Notes :
- Some of you don't like the flavor malai but don't worry, once the cookies are baked, they don't smell of malai at all. So you can still try 😉
- Instead of Vanilla essence, you can add elaichi powder.
