Corn aloo tikkis are made with grated corn, aloo, a few other vegetables, and spices. I absolutely love tikkis/cutlets with a cup of tea as my evening snack. A perfect recipe to try for a kitty party or kids party. These are quick to make and healthy too.
Traditionally, corn tikkis are deep-fried or shallow fried but I have made these with 1 teaspoon oil and in a microwave. Sounds healthy right? Make a huge batch of these and cook it as the guests arrive.
For this recipe, I have used American corn kernels which were available in my pantry, but if you don’t have access to fresh corn, you can always go with Frozen sweet corn. Simply boil the corn for a minute and then coarsely grind it. If you don’t have fresh ones, do the same with frozen corns.
Similarly to make it healthier, I have used besan and chawal ka atta, instead of maida or cornflour.
