- 200 Gms Maida/All Purpose Flour I have used the measuring cup.
- 50 gms + 1 Tablespoon Powdered sugar Adjust according to taste
- 50-70 gms Ghee
- 4 pinch Salt Just strictly 4 pinch
- 50 gms Desiccated coconut/Nariyal burada
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Baking soda
- milk for brushing
- Desiccated coconut/Nariyal burada for sprinkling on top

- In a mixing bowl, take ghee and powdered sugar. You can adjust the sugar as per taste. Now whisk it well using a hand whisk or you can use a spoon too. We want it to get fluffy and white in color.
- You can use a raita whisker, I use a plastic one. Basically, you can use your hand. We have to whip it to get a creamy texture.
- To this add maida, baking powder, baking soda, desiccated coconut, and salt.
- Mix everything well. It should make a soft dough.
- Roll out the dough into small balls. Apply milk using a brush and sprinkle desiccated coconut at the top.
- Pre-heat the microwave for 5 minutes at 180 degrees. Place a low rack or a stand inside the microwave.
- Place the cookies on a baking tray. Bake these Coconut Cookies on convection mode at 180 degrees for 15-17 minutes.
- Voila! Easy peasy Coconut Cookies are ready. Store it in an air tight container.
