Peel and grate Beetroot in a bowl. Using your hands’ squeeze all the excess water from the beetroot.
P.S: Do not throw away the beetroot water as we will soak bread slices into it and then we will use.
Boil, peel and mash potatoes and keep it aside.
In a mixing bowl, take beetroot, mashed potatoes, chopped onions, green chilli and ginger paste, coriander leaves and all the masala.
Soak bread slices into beetroot water and squeeze the extra water. Add this to the mixture
Mix everything and make tikkis out of it.
Heat a non stick pan. Add a bit of oil and cook these tikkis on low heat. Cook it well from both the sides.
Serve it with chutney or ketchup.

To make it more healthy, you can add crushed walnuts too.
If you want it more crispy, you can roll these tikkis in sooji/semolina or crushed walnuts and then cook it.
