Bajra Crackers is a crispy, healthy, and zero oil recipe. Yes, you have read it correctly. These are baked and not fried. The best part about this recipe is, it is made using Bajra flour, whole wheat flour, and not with all-purpose flour.

- 1 cup Bajra Flour I have used the 100 gm measuring cup.
- 1/2 Cup Whole wheat flour have used the 50 gms measuring cup
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 teaspoon Red chili flakes adjust according to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon Oregano or Pizza mix adjust according to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon Ajwain
- Salt to taste
- water as required to make a soft dough
- 1 tablespoon milk to brush on top (optional)

- Take out Bajra & whole wheat flour in a mixing bowl or thali.
- Add 1 tbsp ghee and rub it with your fingers till the mixture looks sandy or till you can make a mutthi out of it. Just like we check for mathri and all.
- Add the seasonings - Salt, Ajwain, Chilli flakes & Oregano. Mix it well. Adjust the seasoning according to your taste and preference.
- Add water little by little to knead a smooth dough. Bring it together into a ball and keep it covered for 10 min to rest.
- After 10 minutes, divide the dough into medium size balls and roll it using plain flour. Using a heart shape or any cookie cutter, cut the dough into shapes.
- Prick holes using a fork. Transfer on a baking tray. Brush some milk over the rolled crackers.
- Preheat the microwave at 180 degrees on Convection mode for 5 minutes.
- Use a lower stand and place your baking plate. Bake these Bajra crackers for 15-17 minutes or until crisp on Convection mode at 180 degrees.
- Serve it with a salsa or a yogurt dip. Alternatively, you can eat these with a cup of chai.
