Aam Peda or popularly known as Mango Peda is a delicious sweet recipe made of fresh mango pulp. If you love Mangoes, then this recipe is absolutely worth trying. Decadent, sweet, and a perfect recipe to try during festivals. With few ingredients from your kitchen, Aam Peda is loved by all.
During Summer, when the Mango season is at its peak – we make Mango puree and store it in an air-tight container and then enjoy it all year long. It’s a perfect kitchen hack as you can serve your guests Aam ras any time of the year.
For this recipe, you can go for fresh sweet Mangoes or preserved Mango pulp will do. Since I have a huge container of Mango pulp in my freezer, I decided to make a quick dessert for Ganpati Bappa.

- 100 gms Mango Puree I have used the measuring cup.
- 50 gms milk powder I have used the measuring cup.
- 25 gms Powdered sugar I have used the measuring cup.
- 6-7 number Kesar/Saffron
- 2 tablespoon milk for saffron.
- 1 teaspoon Desi Ghee

- In a nonstick pan, take Mango puree, add powdered sugar and cook it for 2 minutes.
- Now add in milk powder, ghee, and saffron-infused milk.
- The idea is to cook everything together on low flame till it starts leaving the sides of the pan.
- It takes about 10-12 minutes on low flame. The dough should come together.
- Switch off the flame and let the mixture cool for 2-3 minutes.
- Make pedas out of it and garnish with Saffron.
